Appreciating This Moment

With high speed internet starting to be available on some flights, let’s pause, laugh, and wake up to this moment. (Thanks to Uf Tukel at www.icruise.com for sending the link and a great way to start our day).

P.S. I read Uf’s email, watched the video, and wrote this blog post all on my phone in my hybrid car on a bridge over the San Francisco Bay. Wow.

(No, I wasn’t the one driving!)

That’s so funny! Who was the comedian?

This was a good reminder for me. I have often been the person frustrated when my cell phone doesn’t get service — but 8 years ago I was living in house with one phone line for all the people living in it to make calls and go online! We should definitely take more time to appreciate the technology, even if it’s not as perfect or ideal now as it someday will be.

Oh. My. Gosh. Hilarious. Sometimes I remind people who get mad at our favorite free tools (Twitter, Facebook, Gmail)… People, it’s free. Someone’s giving you this. Get a grip.

    Thanks for making me laugh.
