Healthy Snack Multi-Slicer from KidCo

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

This is my favorite kitchen tool set for families with toddlers (or children of any age — including me!). You twist and snap in the interchangeable blades to slice or julienne. It’s easy to handle and easy to wash – goes right into the dishwasher.
Our favorite blade? The apple corer/slicer makes coring an apple effortless [...]

Fisher Price Disney Little Einsteins Rocket’s Tub Adventure Bathtime Giftset

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

I became the best aunt in the universe when I gave my nephew Ashton this Rocket Bathtime Giftset. The rocket transforms into a submarine, and the little people (Underwater Leo and Scuba Jane, no less) squirt water from their snorkels. The toy helps little minds think and little hands work with the water wheels, the [...]

Dancing Deer Cookies

Monday, January 19th, 2009

The Dancing Deer Baking Company is one of those organization’s I’d support even if their cookies weren’t full of double-squeal yummy-ness. They use all-natural ingredients, choose packaging and manufacturing techniques that are friendly to the environment, give back to the community and have a great time doing it.
Based in Boston, Dancing Deer Baking Company has [...]

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

Friday, January 16th, 2009

A simple, bright, colorful book about the alphabet and a coconut tree. It has a great rhyming rhythm. I’d go with the original text - the board book is too short. My 14 month old loves this book and has learned a lot of her alphabet already from this fun to read book.

A must for every household. This book is read over and over and over again in our house. What a great way to send your little ones off into dreamland, by saying goodnight to all of those friends in the room…and those outside as well.
