Babble chic - Quick Fit Car Seat Slipcover

When my four-year-old daughter, India was a newborn baby I remember laying her into her plastic and synthetic fabric infant car seat. I thought to myself that the seat must have been off gassing (I was guessing) but it seemed uncomfortable and probably hot against her skin and it also gave off a plastic like odor. From then on I always placed an organic cotton receiving blanket under her although it ultimately always bunched up.

Now I am due with my second baby (just weeks away) and having kept and stored my daughter’s infant car seat I was on the search for a comfortable cover and not only a comfortable cover but an organic one to boot and after days of searching I found a lovely soft organic infant car seat cover. I am having a boy and wanted a cover that was boy colors and found that too. The car seat cover is made by Babble Chic.

Not all the covers on the site are organic cotton but the Delightful Swirl in a boy friendly blue is and is 100% machine washable and so easy to install without compromising safety (it’s made to fit over the manufacturer’s existing cover and does not bunch up. They even make toddler seat covers as well. The fabric is super soft and I look forward to placing my little baby boy into his car seat knowing he will be safe and comfortable.

Seat covers for your car seats are a wonderful idea. They let you keep your child comfortable while driving. So you can pay attention on what your doing. Being able to take it off and wash it is awesome. Always fresh and your baby’s will love that.
