Healthy Child Healthy World

At a recent speaking engagement, a mother ran up to me.  Excited and nearly tackling me, she announced, "I just have to tell you, I read Healthy Child’s new book, and honestly, your advice helped me save my son’s life!"  Her son, only 18-months-old, had constantly battled asthma. Simple tips from Healthy Child Healthy World had eased his breathing and her worries. As her beautiful toddler sheepishly smiled at me from her arms, his grateful mother asked:

"Is there anything I can do to help you?"
The answer is always yes.

Right now, you can help, too. By leaving a comment right here in support of our work.

The (Unfortunate) Reality: More children than ever are being diagnosed with cancer, learning disabilities, asthma, autism, obesity and allergies. They are at risk from harmful chemicals everyday. We all must work to prevent the increase of childhood disease and illness.

The (Fortunate) Reality: Healthy Child exists to ensure all children many healthy days, to give the most vulnerable a voice, and to empower everyone who cares for children’s health and development with needed information.

From our award winning website to our book and printable pocket guides to our Health eHome program in collaboration with WebMD to our advocacy work with health professionals and parent groups across the country - we make the most critical advice and credible health strategies accessible to all.  Healthy Child Healthy World is igniting a movement that protects children by creating cleaner, greener, safer environments for all children to flourish.

The Hope: We hope you understand the importance of our work and our voice, and hear us when we say, we need you now.

Please leave a comment supporting our work and then visit us http://healthychild.org/get-involved/newsletter/ and join the movement.

There is not a day that goes by that I don’t do what I can to support spreading the word of HCHW. I feel that this work that you are doing is essential to the well being of us all and the way our children will raise their own someday. I think as a whole were on a downward spiral of wanting it fast and now…I think that with everything we need to take time to show our children how things are created and come from like foods and such. To teach them how we impact each other and not to be selfish in not caring about tomorrow.
I have changed the way I look at products on my child, in our water, investing in safe things even if it is more money to only have less. I really love talking to parents about HCHW and end with giving samples from the Party box to give them a small head start.
I now have a great education that I hope to keep expanding and I owe a huge portion to you all! If children so called don’t come with manuals…I sure hope that all parents will adopt this as “the” manual!
I wish there were more companies looking to do long term work for the greater good…and not for the bottom line and the $dollar being a motivator.
I wish you all the success and being a household name and look forward to seeing your stamp of approval for parents that don’t make the time to research what knowledge you provide!

This web site is invaluable. The information is presented in a non-parent guilt way, the information is accurate, and readable. This is one of my “go to” web sites when I’m seeking out healthy information.
Thank you for all the work that you do, and that you are doing. We need your web site badly! And, how sad that as a culture, we think it’s ok to kill ourselfs, to poison our only world. How weird is that!

Thank you Healthy Child, Healthy World! The information you share with all of us helps us to learn the dangers that are lurking in our children’s environments. Knowledge is power and helps us to make change so that our children may lead healthier lives. As a neonatal ICU nurse, I am a huge advocate for the work that you do and visit often. I frequently use your site as a creditable resource for my research and articles. Keep up the great work!

I love Healthy Child Healthy World because they are empowering parents through information to utilize alternatives to the chemical laden products and foods that we purchase and use in our homes and around our children. When you empower a parent you can help to save a child. This happens everyday because of the work of HCHW. Thanks for all that you do :-)
